So I never thought I would be that guy.

Yet Apparently I am. I am that guy that just remembered he has a blog and should probably start writing in it again. So I've got BLM to 60, bought a Pluto's Staff and have been saving gil for a Jupiter's Staff, or so I thought. Lately I've been distracted and haven't been on BLM very often. I've been leveling Dancer for farming with friends 34 now. Almost there. I've been told it gets nothing new after 35 but I still plan on taking it to 37.

I don't know why but I can't stand dancer. Most people love the job I find it way too easy. I love the excitement of being able to deal damage or be on the cusp of death and have to pull out all the stops to try and save my life. On dancer I basically bore the mobs to death. On the other side I think I've died 3 times maybe on my trip to 34. I've done the whole thing solo/duo so maybe that's why but I don't know.

Also I got on SAM to mess around with Shinku and that turned into an exp party with Odin and Itaz. All I can say is it didn't start out that well but got better towards the end when Tybodn came to join us.

Oh in real life news I recently went up to Seattle for a couple days and got to meet Tybodn and his wife Acina. Had lots of fun and was pooped by the time I got back. (then had to work the next 4 days >.<.

Ok back on track. SAM. That party ended and was going to try to get another one started. I got an invite without seeking and it didn't look like we were gonna find mages to get another party rolling. So I took the invite and it was a great party. I ended up using a lot of food though because the PLD couldn't tank as well as Itaz did.

I got SAM from 53-57 and enjoyed the experience. I also ended up wasting a bunch of gil on gear for it that should have went to my HQ staff fund. Oh well I had fun.

Merited a bit lately which is nice because I am crazy behind in merits. Which sucks because I only have one job to merit so far. Recently I got rapid shot rate up to 1. Snapshot up to 1. and Recycle up to 1. I put one merit into Dagger so my thf should get Dancing Edge at 59 instead of 60 as normal so that will be fun. (If I ever get to exp on thf.)

GK -> 4 Currently @ 0 Need SAM to 75 first. Merits to Complete: 9

Marksmanship -> 4 Currently @ 0 Merits to Complete: 9
Evasion -> 4 Currently @ 1 Merits to Complete: 8


Crit Hit Rate -> 4 Completed.
Spell Int Rate -> 4 Currently @ 0 Merits to Complete: 9

Rapid Shot Rate -> 5 Currently @ 1 Merits to Complete: 14

Snapshot -> 5 Currently @1 Merits to Complete: 19
Recycle -> 5 Currently @1 Merits to Complete: 19

Besides the INT and MP I really don't want to get farther into my plans for merits for BLM. A lot of these are to show why I am not going for certain merits on RNG.

So.. All of that I need 155 merits.

That should take me until the servers are shut off.

Just to "Finish" merits for RNG would take... 78 merits. Though I might say screw marksmanship and go archery to 8. which would make it more. But I'm not sure.

This is already getting expensive. Maybe I should make recycle top priority to save me some gil until I get another 75 job.

Anyways I am so amzingly sleepy I started writing this before the merit party. So I'm gonna take off and get some sleep. Hopefully I can stop being that guy and post more often.
